How hard are 1958 year coins, to look for? Because I've been looking for that specific year in all U.S coins for my family keep sake for my child, but I can't seem to find any for that specific year in question. Why?

Check ebay for a Mint set or proof set from 1958 - then you will get all denominations at once.

It will be close to impossible to find them in circulation. 58' dimes and quarters are silver so they'll most likely already be picked out. Then there are 58' wheat cents which are rarely found in change today. Also 1958 was almost 60 years ago and every year after that billions of coins of each denomination were minted every year, making the chance even more slim.

I do agree with mark and highly recommend buying the coins separate or in a mint or proof set.
