omgstfurukm New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 02/08/2017 9:40 pm In my grandfather's collection are a bunch of 1 & 2 aluminum Francs from 1941 to 1949ish. Some are Travail Famille Patrie and others Liberte Egalite Fraternity. The 1944 Franc 1's with the double Axe seem to come up in some internet posts about having a Small or Large C. I have 3 of these from 1944 that appear to be a Large C? Any decent value in one versus the other? I have about 30 of the 1 Francs and 18 of the 2's. Report this Post to the Staff

Dave M Valued Member United States 67 Posts	Posted 02/08/2017 10:07 pm The one of significant value is the 1f Francisque of 1944, with small "C". There is no small "C" version of the 2F. The others are worth a few dollars, depending on condition. Report this Post to the Staff
Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 02/08/2017 10:16 pm Don't know that answer to your question, but I've seen a lot of those in foreign coin mixes for sale, must be quite common. An interesting coin which I seem to have missplaced, is a 1944 1 centime(I think) that was minted on excess old 1943 US steel planchets. See if any stick to a magnet! Report this Post to the Staff
