to the family, Misairo!

Need both side pix to really help, but from what is seen is a coin quite damaged from circulation, called PMD, post mint damage. Looks pinched by something and corroded. Can't make out date, 193? Is this a Wheat ear cent? That's why need reverse pix.

I'm not versed in this terminology but if it were an error, could it be double partial brockage? Is that even feasible?

I'm leaning toward PMD considering the other two rim impressions on the top.

I have to say, please photograph your coins on some other surface. Those are just kind of weird to zoom in on...

Also, you may want to create another topic for this one to keep things tidy.

Instead of multiple one lines posts, please read this CCF FAQ about editing your post the next time to add a line to an existing post:

Hi again Misairo.

Yeah what Fuzzy said, the edit feature is the page icon with the pencil on it...add your question that way.

As to what could cause this damage...as grandson would say," the possibilities are endless!". The first could have been hit with a hammer while laying on concrete (?), looks scraped by something above the date, the rest is just circulation wear, coin's just worn out. Keep askin' we'll answer!
