This coin has some kind'of flaking going on, on the reverse. I've never seen this or even heard of this. You can clearly see it was part of the minting process, but not sure what caused it. BTW This is the second coin I found in an entire roll of coins from 59' to 67'. On another subject I have about 20 60 Lincolns that I'd like to post just the obverse to see if they are large or small dates. Currently I don't have the magnification to see it clearly. So would it be ok to post all in one thread? Thanks for looking and all advice is appreciated!

Looks like a minor lamination issue? I found one where the obverse on mine was like the reverse on yours, but my reverse had major flakes.

I think there's another recent thread asking about 1960 small dates that cwb posted a useful image to. If the nine is higher up than the one, I think it's a large date.

It looks more like a struck through copper debris on that area. You can see the outline in that area.
