Hi all,

My son and I received a few Ike dollars in change today and was excited to find what I think is a 1972 Type II. Can someone please confirm? It's been many years since I actively collected coins, so I'm admittedly quite rusty! (But my son's interest makes me think I may be taking the hobby up again -- with him). Also, does it make sense to have something like this graded, or should I try to find a local coin shop and ask them?

Thanks!

And here's the front! I put it in a holder so my son didn't get it too gummed up. : )

Sure looks like it nice find! I wouldn't grade it less you thought it was ms63 or higher...obverse looks pretty nice but I'm at work and looking on my phone so wouldn't hazard a guess at the grade tho
