I have browsed 1000's of coin listings on ebay and I find it hilarious that so many listings label proof coins as "proof condition". Proofs are a type of strike, not a condition!

No , I've seen myself listings that say the coin is a proof when it is hands down MS . What really gets me mad is when they say BU Proof or Proof Uncirculated .

With all these different terms so many sellers use incorrectly it makes it difficult to know what your really buying.

The phrase that really cracks me up..... Mint Condition for its Age

Ummm... 1 year or 1,000 years old... Mint condition is mint condition.

I guess I'm in birth condition for my age, I'm just a big fat baby.

Is 'Proof Condition' proof that it is in a condition to be a proof? Or is an impaired proof in a condition that is proof it was uncirculated when it was a proof thus having proof of its condition?

"great detail" is almost never that great.
"BU" on a completely brown Lincoln always makes me shake my head.
