Thank you! It doesn't matter to me if it is worth anything or not. Lol finding a error penny no matter how small was on my bucket list soooo Yaaaaay!  |

Good eye!  I'm surprised there are die cracks already. They must be really cranking out those fellas! Definitely set those aside for posterity. Hi Angie - die cracks are just a natural progression in the life of a working die. It is interesting that cracks are already appearing as it does seem early on in the die's life. Cracks are not errors though, but in the opinion of many here, add character to a coin (e.g. Liberty Bell). Given the location of the crack, there is sometimes increased interest, like the cracks found on some of the war time nickels from the San Francisco mint that ran though the mintmark resulting in a $ look. One is featured here in our Optimizer tool.
