Mint Marks were hand punched into the dies until the early 90's so they can vary in placement but that one is pretty far up there. Nice find. The Die Maker must have been punched it into the die after a "liquid lunch"

Tank you Mark1959. I am new on the block and did not know that. Trying to find as much information as I can. Buy the way do you know any information as to the steps on a nickle?

I don't collect nickles so I don't know much about them. Maybe someone else will come along to help you out or start a new topic and ask your question. All I know is if there is any nick or disruption of a step then the coin is not considered Full Steps.
