I see ICG , NGC, and ANACS mentioned for this deal . ICCS and CCCS are NOT mentioned anywhere that I saw.
Just another money extraction scheme from the self anointed Number 1 grading service.
Wanna bet most everything submitted crosses ? . PCGS does not provide charity , last time that I checked. Running out of coins to grade and now going to cross everyone else's. Right up there with CAC stickers for US coins or WINGS for world coins.
PCGS is trying to make a breakthrough in Europe via PCGS Paris. Funny most stuff in London and Europe still seems raw .
Also the nice folks from PCGS Paris are ....umm ......not THAT Pleasant . Just a personal observation on my current European Buying trip.
Just thinking 130 coins submitted that are going to cost at least 30 USD each is a pretty nice early Bust Dollar or a few Choice early Crowns.
The whole TPG issue really needs to be examined closely. Aside from authenticity , which is becoming increasingly important , most numismatists who have money to throw around in large sums do know how to Grade coins.
For dealers , I agree a totally different scenario. TPG s have made us a lot of money over the years.
Just my humble JET LAGGED observation as I return to Canada with some very nice RAW coins.
