1984 Lincoln Memorial Cent Die Clash

No "prisoner cent" designation for this one, since the obverse die was polished extensively after the clash. Note the die polish marks on the obverse field but not the obverse design.


On the reverse, Lincoln's collar and chin are visible between the columns. The Y of liberty peaks out, and the silhouette of his head is visible at the bottom of the coin in the area where there is a change in the luster. The memorial steps have been polished after the die clash and there is little distinction between steps.
