I found this 1979 lincoln in a roll yesterday. At first, I though it was deep scratch, but then I looked again and noticed the lettering of the reverse "ACIREMA" was showing on the obverse:

Can-Anyone-Tell-Me-What-Happened-To-Lincoln-Cent?

I also noticed this going through Lincoln's head:

Can-Anyone-Tell-Me-What-Happened-To-Lincoln-Cent?

Then on the reverse, it has the obverse "TSURT EW". Hard to see from this image, I know. But it's definitely there:

Can-Anyone-Tell-Me-What-Happened-To-Lincoln-Cent?

What happened to this coin and what should I do with it?

With the AMERICA showing as backward impressions, looks like someone took Two Cents and pressed them together. Either with a vice, or they were hit with a hammer.

It looks like it was in the middle of three pennies pressed together whatever way.

Hmm. I don't think so, because the "A' from ACIREMA runs underneath date. And the E from EW on the reverse runs under the N from CENT.

If I can, I'll post a better set of images.
Rest in Peace

Howdy! Welcome to CCF! I don't see the strike as you see it. I, however, love that you tell knowledgeable numismatists 'I don't think so'.
