One of the things was an accumulation of coins. I've got no idea what this one is & am not even sure I'm in the right part of the forum. The last 2 pictures were taken through a loop. greekandromancoins Valued Member Australia 205 Posts	Posted 02/19/2017 9:02 pm Hi, hard to tell from the photos, but the coin might have bronze disease (corrosion caused by chlorides). Up close do the bright green spots on your coin appear fuzzy and easily scrape off with your finger nail? If so, you'll need to take preventative action pretty quickly. There's plenty of material, presumably here, and on the internet about how to treat coins with bd. Bronze disease does not stop until it destroys your coin... It is the worst thing about bronze coins, though ancient silver coins can have their issues too (embrittlement). Peter Report this Post to the Staff
