Good Day Everyone, Just wanted to show my newest acquisition that's sporting a misplaced date and a rotated die error. Sending this one in for a cert. Happy Hunting, Jon

Also there's a base of the number 1 at the neckline below the pearls.

Or they are corrosion byproducts.

Rotated die is there, can you please take better photos of the alleged misplaced date? I believe they might be die pits or corrosion as well. Need a better look to tell

Think what condor means is there's environmental damage that's been cleaned off, but bits are left behind. Rev pix aren't very good but looks like ED at 2 o'clock as well. The coin appears semi-pourus indication of corrosion/cleaning? May need better pix to determine, lighting funky.
Edit: am wondering if this at one time was a metal detecting find, dug up & cleaned, can't seem to shake that impression.

There is nothing in Snow's attribution guide that matches what you are claiming. I agree with others that it is something other than MPD's, but better pictures would help

Rotated reverses are rather common on many coins. For example really common on Mercury dimes and usually does not add any value. Actually many dealers lower their prices on coins with rotated reverses.

What I meant is that you may be seeing the results of corrosion and not misplaced dates. I'm not seeing MPD's in the images but I am seeing corrosion.
A rotated die would not be a byproduct of corrosion.
And the reason I didn't answer you right away yesterday is because I blow through the forums that I read, making comments, answering questions and then move on to the next thread/forum and don't return till the next day.
