I have had this put up for a while and thought that they were small Cuds... Well now that I am getting a little more educated I think they may be something completely different. Think how heavy these bags of 5000 would be, coins smashed together. All kinds of designs are made! Report this Post to the Staff
Safetylady12 New Member United States 46 Posts	Posted 02/16/2017 4:32 pm I looked that up as well :) But with this I do not see any hints of the reeds edge inside the small pit. I wish I could get a better pic, the pit almost looks square and is deep enough to insert the ball of a ball point pin. Also I failed to mention there is another pit almost identical about a quarter way around, that one is in the 2nd picture. I am heading to New Orleans in the morning and am going to stop at a trusted coin shop and have him put it under a microscope. I will report back with my findings. :) Report this Post to the Staff
