Hi again,

Would this be considered a die crack or a lamination error.

Kinda of confused by the near perfect line.

Thanks,

Gula

Post mint damage, with metal snips or needlenose pliers. When a coin has a die crack, there is a crack or void in the die, so it will appear raised on the coin. The diagnostic for lamination errors is thin flakes of metal on the surface of the coin.
Rest in Peace

Druu, was sidecutter pliers, or electrician's scissors. Used to be a telephone man, those scissors when new would cut through pennies and dimes like butter. Used to give kids each half, tell them it's your "half-cents worth"!
