I think you did fantastic. From the pictures, the coins look pretty good. Of course, in hand, it's possible certain problems might make themselves apparent. Initially, I like the look of all those purchases. That was some haul. Congrats!

Thanks Prethen........

Estate auctions are like a box of chocolates.....you never know what yer gonna get !.....
There's always some good ones out of a bunch of low grade junk at these things....but you just never know for sure until you go there and look at it.
The two Large Cents are in decent shape..(i paid $90.00 for the both of them)(that was a little high, but not bad)....and that No Cents V nickel I thought was worthy to pursue..($12.00 I think)...half dime was okay..($25.00 was steep, but I got it anyway!)......the Peace and Morgans (and a few others.... some not pictured)..I just bought to hoard....heck they're worth $18.00 - $24.00 apiece to me!
But the " Two Cents", as I mentioned, were NOT bought at that auction.....those are just part of my collection and I had some things at the house, so I took the pics.....
95% of my stuff stays down at the bank in two large safety deposit boxes......
And I need to check and see for sure what I've got for 3CN's......I'm sure I've got one or two.......but I'm unorganized and I just forget !..LoL ha ha...

Great looking coins you got there.
I really like the V nickels. I'd really like to start collecting them but I have so many unfinished sets going (ones I started, and ones a recently deceased uncle of mine started) that I should really focus on one at a time.

I love those large cents too. Man why are there so many great coins to collect? My wallet can't handle it

Great purchases though, congrats.

photoeric21.......

I know what you mean !........It sure is hard to confine oneself to a "budget" in everyday life when you're a coin collector.....
As far as "unfinished sets" that you mentioned........THAT'S ALL I HAVE ARE UNFINSIHED SETS ! LoL Ha Ha.......can't seem to focus on ONE thing and pursue it to the end !
I still find little batches of coins that I have yet to go through......let alone "package & catagorize" !...
And "duplicates"?........OHH ! FOR THE LOVE OF GAWD !....I have more duplicates of coins than i'll ever know what to do with !....
The Large Cents......yeah....I don't know why, but they've been a favorite of mine for awhile now........I don't have near enough of them and there's certainly good varieties and dates and "era's" to collect with those in particular.....so.....in a few years time......gotta feelin' I'm going to end up with a VERY nice collection of Large Cents.......

AND WITH THE WALLET PROBLEM........I've an idea........I'm going to have a "pledge drive".....and the charity will be for any sympathetic souls with extra money to donate to ME to better enhance my coin collecting experience !.....no trickery....just honesty.....
I wonder how many donations i'll get ??....Ha Ha...

Just go "online" and search for auctions in your area......many things will come up including "estate auctions".and "coin auctions"....you then look through those (the auction bills) and carefully see which ones feature coins........there ya go !
BUT.....if you live near me......I DON'T WANT TO BID AGAINST YOU !..IT DRIVES UP THE PRICE ! Ha Ha LoL......the more coin collectors that show up....the "less" chance you have of getting a "good" deal on any coins.....So...let's keep this a secret between you and me okay ?....
