Hello everyone
I have a Kennedy 1967 half dollar, it only weighs 11.34 grams
And not 11.5 grams
Has anyone seen this before?

to CCF. I think a US coin has a mint tolerance of .13 grams +/-

Hi Staios, I believe ccf has a built in image resizer. I couldn't get it to work the first time I was posting here, so I just googled and ended up on http://webresizer.com/, which I believe is the embedded one here anyway. (I still manually resize in a different tab, but old habits die hard.)

When you post pictures, please get one of the rim too. I suspect you have a normal silver clad half because it is within the acceptable weight deviations for halves.

Tolerance on a 40% silver half is +/- .4 grams so it can go as low as 11.1 grams and still be within tolerance

That is for the cent. Each denomination and sometimes each series has it's own tolerance range. In general base metals tend to have wider ranges and precious metals have very tight tolerances especially gold For example the loosest gold tolerance was for eagles and double eagles after 1849 +/- .032 grams. The tightest was on the quarter eagles of 1834 - 1836 +/- .008 grams
