Check his other items. He has an ANACS struck through plastic Washington quarter for only $100,000.01! Wonder if it'd sell for more if crossed over to PCGS!!

I made a $20 offer with a message but it was automatically declined so I wasn't sure they received the message.
I contacted them directly concerning the listing and price. Currently waiting on response, if any.

I suspect they are trying to increase the perceived value of the coin, so that they can sell it down the road for much more than the current price guide value of $9500.
Of course, they are certainly not doing themselves any favors with their arrogant, offensive ad copy.

Forget all that other stuff, the GRADE is a joke. That coin has rim dings and marks all over the obverse. MS66? Hardly.

I agree the grade is a joke. It might make AU-58 on a good day.

Huh? Looked up the number on the PCGS verification page and came up:
"That Cert Number was not found in the database."

Quote: He just declined my very generous offer of $200. Your more generous than me.. I first offered $10 then $11 then $12. Darn, he turned all three down!

"That Cert Number was not found in the database." I just looked it up and it's a correct cert number and the coin appears to match the coin at PCGS. Here's the link: http://www.PCGS.com/cert/30975639I'm not sure how MS66 was achieved for this coin but it does appear to be a certified coin.

I would like to suggest that we, as a community, do not engage in directly harassing someone just because they are offering a coin at a ridiculous price. Make fun of them here, why sure. But a coordinated effort by a multitude of users could be frowned upon by ebay resulting in undesired consequences for the members engaging in the unwanted communications.

With all due respect, if he didn't want the offers he shouldn't put up a best offer option on his listing. You are allowed three attempts and then ebay tells you your offer limit has been reached. If you've ever seen my comments before I have always stated that folks are allowed to ask whatever they want for items. It's the American way but to state that we shouldn't all make offers is just ridiculous. This seller has obviously set a minimum price he/she will accept and he automatically replies with a deny message if it's below his tolerance level. All within ebay's guidelines and simply nothing wrong with it.
