in the coin shop deal I found a bu yellow 1935 S .i rub the rem edge and it come up yellow.did they make this in brass on this year?

toniblab, I dont think they were made out of brass this year. Try weighing it. Also, if color rubbed off on your finger, then it most likely was colored.

i rub the edge of it no color came off.and I rub it hard the only thing I see is very light scratches and they where yellow to.(on coin)

might have been dyed by someone. I highly doubt it is brass. unless of course it is a foreign planchet.

this is what I found out this coin was acid wash.after cleaning.if they only left it alone this was a ms 63 brown.they wipe it down and acid wash it.to get bu grade.
