Old holder, no higher than MS-65 on the label. Probably 64.
My grade? No lower than MS-65. Possibly even MS-66.

Absolutely!
This is in a rattler AU-58 Holder. Extremely conservative, and also the reason I purchased the coin.

Looks like a crackout candidate.

The most you're going ro get from CAC is a one grade lift from a gold sticker to MS60. I would think you would want a bigger jump in grade than that. You could have it regraded by PCGS or crossed to NGC, but your best bet would be to crack it out and resubmit raw.

Getting a gold sticker doesn't necessarily mean that the coin is under graded by only a single grade.
This is also a very cheap coin in higher grades. Let's say I sent the coin in raw and it comes back MS-65, you can buy those all day long for $80. If it came back MS-64 it's worth $40. Spending another $25-$30 to have the coin re-graded just doesn't make sense to me, and the premium for gold CAC'd coins can be huge.
