It looks like two Canadian flags and mountains in the background.

The second set of arms could be some sort of cape?

And I was wrong, the plated version looks worse, at least in Mario's latest image.

I wonder if there will also be two base metal proof sets with colourized silver dollars issued this year!?!?

Yes, two flags like wings, around neck is a "fur cape" , and bckgnd is Mt. Logan. Writeup says coin is in tradition of "allegorical" female figures. That is, every detail, it is claimed, stands for something or is symbolic. They explain it well, I guess. The 'viewfinder' doesn't work so I can't get much detail, however, the fingers holding the British North America Act remind me of the difficulty of drawing hands. Hard not to picture "her" without the hair. Like maybe they will use that visage more than once?

That's interesting. Each of Alex Coville's 1967 designs symbolized something as well.

I just took a look at the Nocturnal Night Owl coin and all I have to say is 'wow'. I love how the obverse of Queen Elizabeth is also plated in black rhodium.

Silver Dollar stand alone works better than with gold enhanced yes...
Sometimes enhancement doesn't actually enhance the design - less is better

New 3rd coin in series - battle of Dieppe well done...
Always appealing when RCM delivers a war commemorative coin...it's what they do best...versus the gimmicky stuff...

I've noticed two designs floating around for the Nocturnal Owl coin. If you go to ebay and look at coins.4.fun, the coin has a different design and description. You'll notice the moon is frosted and silver vs just black.

Is this the coin from a different angle or maybe a prototype mocking of the coin?

Definitely, coins4fun's pic looks different with the silver moon than the actual coin in the video.

I think, both are correct

If you remember, there is a "Predator vs Prey" series, not by RCM (very nice imo), where the coins have been layered by Ruthenium (i think), so looking from the different angles, seemed that black turned to white and in opposite.
Here, with this coin, seems to be different layers of 'proof' finish, looks differently from different angles.

The RCM description says something about the shine of the moon illuminating the owl which matches the unplated moon image.

Look at the video of the actual coin. The owl and the moon are clearly not the same finish.

In the ebay seller's pic, they are the same finish. Kinda makes you wonder where he got that image.

They cannot both be correct.

It's the same deal with the pink gold plated pennies. If you check the RCM website, it says products may actually be different than the images.
I would assume the silver moon image was from before the final design
