1985 quarter bubbled on the face side , and copper on the reverse . I don't know much about error coins ... is it an error coin ? Ty all for your thoughts and reply .

I'm not sure about the "bubbling" but it definitely has environmental damage.

The coin was in a fire. That is why the reverse is blackened. The bubbles are from the metals not expanding the same because of the heat. Very spendable.
