The medal is heavily damaged making it difficult to read the words on the obverse and reverse. If you could post what you think it reads that may give us a starting point.

reverse : as reminder for the airshow of the VIIth German ..... in Hersfeld 6-8 august 81

if the reading of Kreis is correct , Kreis = administrative district
for the obverse : I cann t read it.albert
