Please help me to identify this coin. It was found in my grandparent's collection of coins.
Have no idea what is it and from which country or what century.
Any help and advice will be much appreciated!

It doesn't look like a coin to me. It could be a token, but there's no obvious indication of the use. Maybe a game token? Possibly a jeton. What is the weight and diameter?

bjherbison,
Thank you for answer.
It is approx 17 mm diameter.
Still very interesting, as it looks very old - and for the last 60 years+ it was stored in a dry box - but in a worse condintion, than other XIX-XX century coins from that collection.
I'm going also to ask some collectors.

With no markings that identify a denomination, it's almost certainly not a coin. bjherbison is probably correct that it's a game token or a jeton. There are experts who monitor this forum that may be able to be more specific.

Roger,
Thank you for reply. Now I also think this is old token - looks similar to other tokens. Such tokens often were used for monisto jewelry and most of them were drilled. But this one is whole - which is rare.
