25% of price guide. Front of label looks sketchy. Validation shows it sold back In August for less than $500.

Looks nothing like the one in the link I posted.

I cannot believe that is an AU coin without details and sold for $2000. That is a misrepresentation of the coin's true condition.

"This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available."

So PCGS lists two sales of this dime:
This-1916-D-Dime-Has-To-Be-Fake-Right?

This seller says "It was obtained from a dealer who purchased it off of ebay in the summer of last year".

That actually agrees with what PCGS has! But in 2010, it sold for over $8,000. Last summer is sold on ebay for $470.

If that a modern PCGS slab then I agree with "fake".
Unless things have changed the letters PCGS should be part of the slab on the lower right front.

Please note that I do not know the complete history of any coins we sell.

I bet he knows about this being fake, otherwise; why would anyone sell it way below dealer price.

Wow. That has to be one of the cheesiest fake slabs I've seen, even compared to the usual Chinese work product.

332 fb with 93%, how is this guy still on ebay?

I found at least one vendor selling the coin on the right for $72.98; he has 94 available. Note the PCGS cert number:

Did anyone notice the specific placement of the "slab" on the RedBook page? The fake positioned just left of the 1916-d AU-50 valuation of $9000.
