Just curious what others may see. It's pretty banged up but I'm focused more on the A & M in this case. FG could be a give away, but that part is very scratched.

The coin's a goner, but I still need a little more information such as the date, the whole word STATES, a good picture of FG (if it's still there)...and the picture in level position always helps too.

Close AM. Note how the 'M' is not centered between the 'A' & 'M'?

I noticed that too, which is why I asked about date. Discussing a '92 is way more interesting than say, a '99 in this shape.

I'm also going with CAM because of the lack of serifs on the G of the designer's initials.

Good call. It is indeed a CAM 2008. It is definitely separated more than usual and it caught my eye. There were obvious indicators but just wanted to see what others thought. Thanks for the replies.

So it's a normal 2008 cent? Well, I'm relieved it wasn't a 1992.
