A year or two ago I started collecting Cdn Banknotes, adding to what I already had. As sometimes happens, once I got going there was no stopping. I wasn't particular to specific prefixes or serial number so my ebay search was mostly for that in fairly good condition as low to face value as possible. I'm still deciding about the 1935 English or French series but otherwise up to $100, my currency collection is complete. I've had quite a bit of fun with it because most people don't realize that we've changed the look of our currency so frequently. And I admit I didn't really pay close attention to the images when the respective notes were in circulation. The Series are: 1937 - Bilingual 1954 1969 - Scenes of Canada 1986 - Birds of Canada 2001 - Canadian Journey Series 2011 - Frontier (polymer) Then I placed them in six medium Currency Albums like these: http://www.cdncoin.com/product-p/600160721.htm I really like these currency albums because they're compact and pages can be added or removed depending on how many are required in each one. Here's a photo each of the six albums overlapped, and a look at both sides of the six different types of $5.

I would like to go back and get all the goodies I ignored decades ago. You have a nice collection. Please continue to post your notes. Those currency holders are interesting. How do you add pages to one?

Thanks yakimaboy! Although the albums don't come with extra pages unless one buys a spare album, I was able to add or remove within the six. The spine is plastic and it's very easy to sort of unroll it off, then add or remove the pages, line up the holes and put the spine back on. Have fun!

Here are a couple of bank notes. Not the best condition but I think I got them from my Grandparents. After that you know that you have to start collecting other bills, right? My pictures will get better with practice (I Hope), was having trouble getting rid of my shadow.

Great collection Wildflower, I also started with the intent of just completing each set $1-$100, then suddenly I discovered signature sets for each series then I learned that these could be broken down further with catalog numbers and special prefixes. Let me say it doesn't take long for these to add up - I decided not collect any notes prior to 1937 they are just too cost prohibitive for my budget... Those notes look great tee, yes it's hard to stop once you start

@ Tee. And your wise grandparents probably gave them to you knowing that. Very nice old bills, yes that's an excellent beginning. Quote:

Nice bills all.!! I have been trying to pick up the 1935 $10, I have the $1-$2 and $5, I see Tee has posted one, I don't suppose you would take $20 and double your money..
