Need Help Identifying Early American Large Cent Or Token

Thetimeranger New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 02/27/2017 8:54 pm My name is Matt, I am new to the forum. I am trying to find any information I can on this coin that I found a number of years ago in the bottom of an antique clock from the 1840s. I believe it is a United States coin, possibly a colonial Cent or a large cent I'm not quite sure. It appears to be copper, but it is so worn that it's impossible for me to find anything to reference. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! #129303; Report this Post to the Staff

Judging by Louis's neck and the cap on the reverse, it should be 2 sols.
