I bid $45 on these and was outbid. Considering I'd pay an additional 10% buyer's premium (local auction) that'd be almost $50 for what looks like really bad shape coins. My LCS sells junk silver $ for $22 when he has them. Am I missing something? 1921,1923 and 1971, MM and if 71 is silver is unknown.

I fine it strange the "toning" is so similar on each of these coins.

Nfine, tape or glued on rev? Looks like environmental damage on obv! Maybe the silver could be dipped...but no guarantees on outcome! Yeech!

The pictures are not good enough to tell for sure, but those three pieces could well be from China, and their counterfeits usually don't have silver in them. You should feel lucky that you lost.

Be glad someone else won.
Not worth $50 of my hard earned money.

Whoever outbid you didn't get any bargains; count yourself lucky...these are really atrocious looking coins.

Good thing you were outbid! I could get both those Peace dollars in high AU condition for less than $45.

Who says you are missing something? Looks more to me like the buyer is.
