Other than it is a duplicate serial number as noted by bansdean,(good research and good catch) look at the color of the label and then look at the ebay coin. How much would you pay for this coin now?

JFH

Current bid at a site is $2,350.00 with a 15% buyers fee, I have sent an email, let's see if they pull the item or if I get a reply, stay tuned.

Typical bad fake PCGS slab, uneven rough cut label, wrong number style etc.

Post it in the ebay reporting section so Bobby sees it.

The site where the travesty is occurring is NOT ebay. I will only post the site if Bobby gives me the green light.

I wouldn't sweat it. Moderators of this forum are very fair and don't penalize folks with honest and straightforward intentions.

Worst case scenario: they delete the link if they deem it to be inappropriate.

For that generation of label the color varies as you go down the label from blue to white. (as seen on the ebay coin) The label on the OP coin appears to be monochrome.

Some previous generations of PCGS holders are also monochrome, such as http://www.PCGS.com/holders/Gen4.5 -- aside from the width of the typeface and the incorrect trim, the coloring of the label and the height of the barcode look reasonable.

I'm impressed and a bit perplexed at how quickly many of you clocked this as fake. I can't tell from the coin (it's too small, can't see the reverse). What, specifically, gave it away? If not just the label, what about the holder itself? Are the corners too round?
