A friend of mine got this many years ago. A question regarding notes without serial numbers was discussed before and a few members wanted photos so here is a photo of the bill. If any has any idea of an approximate value, please chime in.

this bill is actually missing two of the three print runs. Both the green and the black seals are missing. As to value I have no idea.

I wonder how that got into circulation without being pulled. Nice note.

Wow...that's a thing of beauty!
Is that recent enough to have the embedded strip and watermark?

Sorry, I had to reduce the image to post the pictures. The bill is a 1985 one so no strip nor water mark. He has had it for over 15 years. Would it be worth wild to get it graded?

I can't tell you a thing about grading, but I can tell you that you have quite the find there.

I did a search on ebay and can't find anything similar.

I'm sure somebody on this board can give you a good answer, but regardless... congrats on the find.

Really cool looking, thanks for sharing.

My friend told me about this bill a couple years ago. I have also searched e-bay and the web but could never find any information on it. He offered to give it to me because he knows I collect coins and such but in good faith I just couldn't take it.

Just don't show that one to the Secret Service, because they may interpret as theft from within the printing facility, and try to confiscate the bill.
Wouldn't it be rather unlikely for a currency sheet to miss two print runs?
