Is there any particular reason why bullion coins in the mid 90's had low mintages? Was there a silver shortage going on? Lack of interest from consumers so less production?
I remember reading that through the mid 90's mining was WAY down. I don't remember exactly where I read it. I know the mintage was low in the mid 90"s for the silver eagles but hadn't looked at the rest of the world's numbers.
