Made a purchase of some older coins and came across this 1905 Barber half dollar. I am not very educated in error coins so not sure if this is a clip error from the mint or if this is from normal wear. Thank you for any feedback.

Appears to be a seriously bad rim DING. Can you also provide closer views of that area and the reverse? If so, it would be easier to be conclusive.
