XavierOfGreen Pillar of the Community United States 2589 Posts	Posted 03/09/2017 6:21 pm Nickel dies tend to break more quickly than dies used on other coins because of the hardness of the metal used (nickel). As such, I would suspect that VLDS happens earlier for nickel dies than it does for other coins. Report this Post to the Staff

You would think Xavierofgreen that nickel being so hard you would find more cracks chips and Cuds but I'm through half a box of nickels and haven't found a single one .
