Although it has a label 'COIN', I think it is a cast medalette.

There is no statement of value on it so it, is not a token intended in commercial transaction.

I couldn't find out much, but I did find another one in the series on ebay

I have a similar "presidents of the US" token for FDR that was distributed by Reader's Digest. Others on here have reported getting similar series from gas stations in the 60s and 70s.
