Found this yesterday , pretty decent shape for circulation, clash I ear and behind his head, I think later stage die by the looks of MD

Years ago, Hans Zoell monikered the term 'spikes,' to identify such clashes.

Very common in '49
Some can be very impressive with the clash marks extending well into George's head and approaching the lettering.
I have quite a collection of these clashes,likely close to a hundred coins,from '47 to '50 or '51 I believe.
I just couldn't resist while perusing ebay for a few years.
They are so cool.
Haven't bought one for at least two years now, don't really know if I've conquered my addiction or just can't find any more interesting or impressive ones.
If it wasn't for forum rules I'd be tempted to ask " how much"
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
