This one came with an old Spink envelope/ticket. The nicest George I halfpenny that I own. Additionally, I believe the E is struck over an R in GEORGIVS.
A distinct possibility. I'm seeing the inner loop and inner right leg of an R. It's a pity the right foot of the R isn't extending out from under the E as that would've nailed it.
