So I was checking out my bag of '83 Lincolns and I noticed a cool die crack on the reverse of one. I tried comparing the cent to the few that Wexler has listed as dd varieties and did not find a match. I'm at a loss when it comes to varieties in regards to terms like "nice spread," close spread, is it terminology describing hub doubling, MD, late die states? It all makes my head spin. I posted pics of liberty and In God maybe it shows md or its a normal strike. Not sure. I also checked the crack to make sure it's a crack and not zinc rot. It didn't budge when I pressed on it with a needle so I'm going with a die crack. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks all.
The way I take pictures of pennies is using the stove light since its weak. I have the galaxy s7 and I zoom all the way in out of direct lighting and the pictures come out pretty good.
