I searched all of the varieties on coppercoins.com but didn't see one with the "0" in 1940 that looked like this does. Anyone seen this before or is it something common? Sorry for the bad pictures!

You probably won't believe this, but that's PMD. The O took a hit, just in the right place, how you can tell is the lower curve has been moved downwards more than normal. Not a doubled or repunched date. Neat looking tho...


BTW, on 0's right, is MD, The device is same size, would increase size if DDO. Glad you're checking CC, an RPM man after my own heart!

New to this & need all the help I can get. Thank goodness for the dictionary so I can figure out all the abbreviation, it's really helpful.
