I have come across an interesting commemorative medal in a collection of junk silver coins.

Looking for any further info on it

I think it is sterling silver but I don't recognise this mint mark

The 7s in 1977 look interesting as they are European Style with the slashes through them.

I am guessing it originally came in a presentation box because one side is very toned.

I have done numerous Google Image searches and have not see them same one anywhere.

Beyond that I can't find out much information, I figured it might be someone like the Franklin Mint but I haven't found anything there.

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thank you.

I recently browsed a coin shop and saw an identical one in a box.

It is from the Springfield Mint so now I know where to start looking.

Cheers
Mark
