After searching....lets just say ALOT of half dollar rolls over the last few years, I had never found one of these in circulation. Thursday this one landed right in my lap ! Nick showed it to me as soon as he saw it and it was in my envelope regardless of price

I doubt it would grade above MS-63, the obverse has too many marks on it. Those scratches from the jaw to the back of the eye are unfortunately on the coin not the plastic, so I think a higher grade is unrealistic. The reverse on the other hand, is really nice (figures )

The agreed upon price for the set was 40 dollars, I paid gladly. The pics might be a bit fuzzy , sorry, I have not decided whether I am going to cut it out or leave it intact. This does answer the question in my post about my last full week at the shop
