Ok wait.. I'm a newbie here so forgive my confusion but....

I thought $2 were ones to hold onto instead of spending them LOL

I have three $2 bills I've been holding for a long time because they were misaligned when cut.... waste of time?

if misaligned where part of the design is missing, they might be worth hanging on to. But normal $2 bills are fun to spend.

My last week usage of $2 bills was $610 for farmers market change and bill paying. At one of Sunday's farmers markets I received back $12 of $2 bills which then also went back out as change before the end of the market. The bills continue to circulate. As always a tiny handful of people prefer not to get $2 bills or half dollars in change but the vast majority love it....

Thanks, Steve! I feel foolish. <chuckle> Here is the corrected text:

Yesterday, I stopped at my favourite sandwich shop and immediately the owner asked if I had small bills: "Everyone is hitting me with $20's." He was really happy to swap a $50 Grant for my 20 $2s and 2 $5s.

$55,924 to go.

Picked up $2 bills at my bank today. Nothing interesting to report, except I am back in the $2 bill spending mode.
