This is stupid. The same seller has a 1998 CAM at fifty-one bucks. You are correct in that the 1999 CAM is the normal circulation strike. (The 1998 CAM is the normal circulation strike too.) What I need is a bucket of 1998 and 1999 cents so I can list them as "Buy It Now" for [I'm doing the math now] $1.50 plus shipping. This nets me zero after cost of shipping and materials, and I can write a description letting people know it's not the rare one.
This seller is playing off of buyers' ignorance, and it's got me riled up. There is technically nothing wrong with the listing though- no claims that it's rare or anything.

We'll call it the "Official CCF ebay Buyer Stupidity Quotient Study."* Edit: I just now read the description of the above listing and even it speaks of looking for the Close AM variety!
