Have a 1941 penny that has a slanted 1. It has no damage and can't find much on it. Your thoughts?

Took a hit, PMD, see this every so often, letters, numbers altered by random hits.

Note how the affected area is parallel to the rim? This may have been altered by a coin counter or a vending machine. Sometime that was rotating the coin when the damage happened.
