*** Edited by Staff to clarify topic title. Titles are important! *** I just purchased an NGC ms69 1999 silver eagle but I think I've noticed an error in it can some one please help I'm posting pics it the t is states looks like a die crack possible.
It appears to be a thread on the plastic capsule, or a crack in the capsule to me. Die cracks usually run in a, more or less, straight line. I've never seen one make a U-turn before.
I don't know about die cracks running in a you turn way, But I have a Jefferson that has something under the you that isn't straight. It is raised above the field, but lower than the device. I know not much help, but anything to me is helpful!
Open the capsule with a blade, its edged. Blow on it, it just may go away...does indeed look like lint of piece of thread. Might even use a toothpick to gently pick at it to see if loose.
