I found a 1970 d Jefferson nickel while metal detecting and it looks like a penny(red). Any body have any idea what it might be worth?

It is worth five cents, your nickel is corroded as are most coins found while metal detecting.
Rest in Peace

Yep, really bad ED, environmental damage, gets that way from a dig. I would suggest spending it next time at a QuickTrip. The counting machines like Coinstar and at banks will reject it. Let someone else get short-changed!

to the family!
