Hello! Looking For Help Identifying This Coin

stevp1 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 03/24/2017 7:37 pm My dad gave me this commemorative coin before he passed. Said it was given to him by a friend. He seemed to think it was Iranian, showing the Shah, but I don't think it is. The first head on the coin looks like Anwar Sadat, so I'm thinking it may be Egyptian. It's from 1975 but not sure what it might be commemorating. Any help or translation would be most appreciated! -Steve Report this Post to the Staff

I agree with SLZ that this appears to be a commemorative medal, perhaps for the Algiers Accord of 1975.
