I've found some silver before but, I think this trumps them. My wife's work has a vending machine and when it was emptied yesterday she bagged up over $100 in quarters into $10 baggies to bring home to me. Unfortunately her boss decided to pay the $80-something vending company bill in quarters!

Anyway, she still brought home $27 worth and tonight I found this:

A 2004-D Winsconsin quarter extra leaf low!

And, it was the only Wisconsin State Quarter in the lot. I know it's not the prettiest but it could be a lot worse for 13 years in circulation! Silver's great and everything but I love errors and varieties. I see these are still selling raw for tidy amounts (of course mostly in UNC condition). Does anyone have thoughts on a grade with all of the imperfections and maybe value?

Wow, that is excellent. Congratulations. I see very few of the Wisconsin quarters so each one that happens my way I cross my fingers and then look under the scope. No luck so far though.

Nice to find one of those.

I recently went through $80+ worth of quarters and didn't find anything special.

I was able to put together a complete set of State Quarters from that search.

I had video games back in the 1980's, back before the price of silver went so high, and there were a lot of weeks when I had to roll over 2000 dollars in quarters. I had a machine that would kick out forty quarters and I would roll them by hand. I had time to watch the bin and I would grab the silver quarters. At one time I had over three hundred in silver quarters, mostly 1960's quarters.
