I hate it 'cause anybody could walk by and...
But its what I found when I came home today.

Time for a bigger mailbox! I hope this is on a covered porch. I would be worried about rain where I live.
Maybe you could ask the mailman to hold at the post office to pick up. Recently, a package with a fairly important purchase never made it to me here -- the seller was good about following up with insurance and I eventually had the PayPal charge reversed but I wonder where that package went...

Everything I get has to be signed for. I am not sure if it is because I purchase the insurance or what.

I would seriously consider getting a PO box somewhere. The last thing I would want is the postman to talk. You just never know, plus as you say, anybody could walk by. I have had packages delivered where the sender wrote on the outside "Rare Coin" and yes, the box came empty and my PO box did not stop that. Anyway.....

I think we need a quote thing here somewhere.
The above is so true in a large city invironment. Having anything with the wrong info on the outside of a package is advertising a future theft. Around me few people have coin, gun, knife, etc type magazines delivered to their houses. Same with coins from the Mint, ebay, etc. if they can have them delivered to where they work or a PO box. Always better to be safe than sorry.

I can build you a 1/4 inch plate steel mail box with a slot or drop door big enough to hold that shipment ! LOL

I have a PO Box and it is good ,,but it will not stop the well paid postal service thief ! I have had a few coins removed from the envelopes over the last few years !
Rest in Peace

We have been so lucky.

Just have a regular, everyday type mailbox by our sidewalk in the front of the house.

Several thousand dollars worth of coins have been delivered there, and have never lost a package yet.
