Oh no! That's too bad about that coin being acid dipped. Still a very nice coin though, despite being dipped in acid.

here is another example I have shown before in a different thread initiated by Dorado this hand made piece (200 years older than the Osella) was not only mounted but also gilded German States: 1568 taler from Salentin of Isenburg, bisshop of Cologne$ mounted in a clever (coin friendly) way into a contemporary setting $ gilded by fire (the old method, using a mercury/gold paste painted on the coin, the mercury evaporates when the coin is heated) $ the silver gilded ring plate around the coin has an inscription    much more vandalism in Cologne than in Venice

That skunk reminded me of my Moose Lotto scratcher, with 1952-2002 cent.    Edit: Yes the cent has the P mark and is magnetic.
